We are in dire need of an additional $20,000 for funding staff next year at Sabin School. PPS funding shortages for the 2018–19 year coupled with boundary adjustments that under-enroll our school, mean Sabin may lose our Assistant Principal, two teachers (in addition to our middle school teachers), two educational assistants, and our school counselor. These shortages will be felt by everyone at the school, but disproportionately by students who most need our support.
We are optimistic that we can raise these funds to help keep class sizes manageable. Your support through a tax-deductible gift by June 20, 2018, will help ALL of our kids succeed.
Help us reach our goal by donating to the Sabin School Foundation and/or participating in a sign-up party:

If you are unable to give now, there are other ways to help: share this appeal with friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers who might want to support our school community. Please also continue to write letters and make phone calls to PPS representatives expressing concern over their broken promises to adequately fund Tubman feeder schools.
Together we built this community — this special place — where our kids learn to walk through the world. Let’s continue our efforts to empower student learning by fostering a foundation for them to flourish.
