In the 2018-19 school year, Sabin School is losing funding for important staff, including two teachers, two educational assistants, and our school counselor. The foundation needs to raise these additional funds to help Principal Williams purchase teaching staff time.
Reduced staffing at Sabin means larger classrooms and less support for students who need additional help. The proposed cuts will affect all students, but will disproportionately place burdens on our most vulnerable students.
» Donate: No donation is too large or too small — $5, $10, and $20 contributions are also important!
» Corporate Matching: Many companies match donations to charitable organizations. If you’ve already given this year, check to see if your company participates — that’s easy money for Sabin School.
» Tell Your Friends/Family: Perhaps grandparents, aunts, uncles, and neighbors who believe in the cause would also want to contribute.
The Sabin School Foundation is a parent-led, nonprofit fundraising organization that raises money for teachers and educational support staff at Sabin School. The Foundation is the only way we have to provide teachers for our school above and beyond what the district allocates in the spring budgeting process.
